Birthdays Only Come Once a Year

Loofa had a fabulous birthday 3 days before Christmas. It is hard to believe he is finally 5. He couldn't have been more excited for his birthday. For about 4 months he had been asking how much longer till his birthday. His big present was a spark scooter. It only took a few days for him to wear out the sparks. The weather has been terrible so he hasn't had much time to use it, but I guarantee it will get plenty of use this summer.

Loofa picked out Monkey Bread for his treat because he wanted to make Brother B happy. What a sweet boy.

Here come the germs!

Oh man! I have to make monkey bread soon. It has been WAY too long! Our scooters were such an awesome investment, the kids absolutely love them. Jonas' got run over this fall and he asked for a new one for his birthday... we were planning on getting him a bike, but I don't know now.

That monkey bread looks divine. (Want to post the recipe?) My kids never have cake on their birthdays--they "don't like it", apparently. So we always have donuts!
