We've been having pretty typical spring weather here lately. Some days are nice, other days, not so much. Here are some recent pics from the nice days:

Teeth
The kids all had their dentist appointments this morning. It was Loofa's first time. Their teeth are all in great shape, which is amazing since I'll admit I'm really not that good at brushing for them. Thank goodness for flouride. Ephant had a tough time with the flouride because she has a very sensitive gag reflex, but she did better than last year. Brother B is stilll going to need his front frenulum clipped, but he has to wait till his top front teeth fall out. That could be another year if he is anything like Ephant. Loofa's teeth that he messed up in January are looking great. The xrays don't show any damage to his permanent teeth, although they may not show everything. Loofa did great with his cleaning. The hygeniest was telling him he liked his shoes and asked if they could trade. Loofa said yes and proceeded to hand him a shoe. What a sweet boy. I don't think the hygeniest expected him to be that willing to share :) Next week will be J and I's turn.
Yay for Speed
Permission has been formally granted. I ordered all the parts so I can build myself a new computer. It is going to be blazing! Here are the specs for those interested.
Chip: Core2Duo, 3.00Ghz, 45nm
Harddrive: 500Gig (+our old 250G)
Memory: 4Gig
Drive: 20X dual layer DVD burner
& the Motherboard comes with 12 USB ports, high definition audio and 2 IEEE 1394 ports.
I had to order a video card for the first time ever because Intel no longer has video on board the ATX motherboards for my chip. It is kind of annoying, but I think I found a decent one. I ordered a nice case for the whole deal too that will supposedly dampen out all the fan noise really well. The beauty of it all was how cheap this is, especially for how cutting edge most of it is. J thought it would be just as cheap to order one from Dell, but nope, still cheaper to build my own. Plus I enjoy putting computers together, even if it can be frustrating. Now I just need the blazing Verizon FIOS to match my blazing computer :)

It Would Be So Much Funnier
if I could just record Loofa's conversations he has with himself, but we'll just have to settle for a written transcript.
“Can I do a belly dance?”
“Yea sure.”
“Yay for belly dance.”
(proceeds to take his shirt off)
“1,2,3,4”
“That’s not 4”
“Yea, that’s four.”
“Okay.”
As an addendum, the other night we were watching Planet of the Apes and he started saying "Where's my precious booty?". Don't ask me where that comes from because I have no idea. The funniest thing about it though was his pronunciation - precious sounded like freshest.

Laughing
You never know what will make a baby laugh uproariously. For some reason Fefe found the noises Brother B was making quite hilarious.
Every Bit Helps
Ephant had another school play this past week, on Earth Day. I've just included clips of her parts so you don't have to watch the whole thing. If you listen carefully you can hear Loofa and Fefe in the background.

Another Loofaism
This was said as we were driving home from church yesterday.
"Mom, can you cheer me up?"
"Mom, can you cheer me up?"
"Mom, can you cheer me up with some treats?"

Babies Having Babies
It's Official
Ephant is now an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
We had a pretty full day last Saturday. I finished cleaning the house in the morning while J ran to the church so the bishop could show him how to fill the font. My parents and sister arrived from the airport around lunch time. We took them to one of favorite restaurants, The Mad Greek, for lunch. We tried to not fill up too much though since dinner was going to be at Aunt J's. The kids were pretty excited to see all the family. It was a beautiful day so we played outside a bit in the afternoon. It actually got up to 78 degrees. Too bad that weather didn't stick around. Happily it made for some good picture taking. We didn't have a ton of time so we were a bit rushed, but I think we have a couple good ones.
The baptism itself was wonderful. Mom gave the baptism talk and did a great job. I felt the spirit so strongly while Ephant was being baptized. It was a beautiful feeling. She knew it was her decision and she made the right one. After the baptism she opened a few gifts. She’s been very excited to open her new scriptures. We went to Deseret Book a month ago so she could pick them out.
After the baptism we went over to Aunt J’s for a barbecue. Once again it was a relief to not have to host or worry about making dinner. I did make snickerdoodles though, Uncle R’s favorite. Luckily I made two batches; otherwise they would not have lasted long. We were pretty tired at this point so it was an early night for everyone.
Mom and Dad stayed till Monday morning. Dad tried to pretend he was sick and skipped church on Sunday. I punished him by making my hot and spicy Jerk chicken.
Jocelyn stayed till Thursday. We didn’t do a whole ton, mostly a lot of book reading. She was happy to relax and enjoy her week off from teaching. We did go check out an indoor play place called “Out of this World”. The pizza was so so, but the place was awesome. The kids had a great time and I’m sure we’ll be going back. It has only been open about a month so it wasn’t too crowded.

Loofa's latest
I thought this confronation he had with himself worth sharing:
"Oh my goodness, why did you do that?"
"I didn't do that, you did."
"No I didn't, you did."

The Morgan's Are Going On Vacation!
It's official, we are actually planning a trip that does not involve visiting family. I was reading the news online the other day and caught a review of a new indoor waterpark up in Washington. It is called Great Wolf Lodge. It is a hotel combo waterpark. Your room includes the cost of the park. The rooms are pricey, but it'll be convenient to have them right there. We're staying in a slightly pricier room so we can have a separate bedroom. I decided it was worth it for my own peace of mind (so P can sleep well while the other kids run around). We are going in mid-May in the middle of the week. I figured we'd go then so it wouldn't be as crowded, we won't have to fight the weekend rush.

Where Oh Where Have the Morgans Gone?
In the midst of being sick and adjusting to my new calling I haven't had much time to post here. We had a great spring break and I was sad to get back to the routine of school.
A friend invited us along to Safari Sam's the Tuesday of Spring Break. It is in Sherwood and fairly similar to Chucky Cheese. We came for the jungle gym, which is supposedly the largest indoor jungle gym in Oregon. We had a blast. I went through it once with L and loved it. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there and the kids would have loved to stay even longer. It's about a half hour drive, but I'm sure we'll be going back.
The kid's all had eye appointments this last week. B is slightly farsighted, but since he isn't having any side effects from it, the Doctor said he doesn't need glasses. He has my eyes so it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up near sighted at some point. I wrote down my prescription too because I've been curious how it compares with the rest of my family. My mom and dad have both gotten Lasik recently and my sister is planning to get it this summer. I'm not quite ready to get it done and am a little nervous about how successful it can be with astigmatism.
P is feeling pretty sick right now. she's developed a really sad cough with her cold. Other than that she has been super cute. For the third time she has decided to start talking in consonants again. Hopefully it will stick this time.
I opened the church up for an RS activity last week and it felt really weird to have that ability. Hopefully it won't go to my head :) We made bags using placemats. They turned out super cute, so don't be surprised if you end up with one from me as a present in the near future.
E had fun playing with P's hair and J perfected it:
